New Classes at The Center For Happiness

Beginning Wednesday May 2nd my schedule at the Center for Happiness will be:

Kundalini Yoga for Men

5:15 - 6:15PM

Yoga is for everyone, but there are aspects which are particularly important for the male. This class will explore the arc line - the male universal defense and security system. Our focus will include developing the pituitary, awakening the third eye, and balancing the hemispheres of the brain, as well as strengthening the nervous system to improve endurance and projection. All levels are welcome, men only.

Moving Toward Infinity - Awakening the Ten Bodies

6:30 - 8:00PM

All Kundalini Yoga Kriyas are balanced, but are also designed to awaken and build certain key aspects of the yogic anatomy and subtle energies. This series of classes will pay particular attention to the yogic teachings of the Ten Bodies. Each week selected Kriyas and mediations will be taught which work on a specific yogic body.

Tai Chi Ch’uan

8:15 - 9:15PM

Experience the relaxation and flow of ancient Chinese energy movements called Tai Chi or “Supreme Ultimate”. Through the flow between the universal powers of Yin and Yang, we may become gradually more aware of our place in the cosmos. All levels are welcome. Tai Chi Classes

Beginning in January at The Center For Happiness, I’ll be offering a Tai Chi class each Wednesday night from 8:15 to 9:15 PM, cost is $12 per class or a punch on your Center for Happiness punch card.

Classes will be mixed level classes. We’ll make certain that everyone is challenged and continues to make progress through the form, as well as providing a space to experience the energy of Tai Chi form in a group setting.  We’ll divide our time up between work on the 37 posture Tai Chi solo form, and the Tai Chi Sword Form as taught be Professor Cheng Man-Ching.
