Conscious Communication Flash Writing
posted in Blog |Here are a few excerpts from some of the flashwriting exercises
What is the difference between notion and intention?
To me this is similar to Will vs want. Not every passing fancy, but something that comes through you, like the voice of God or your Angel. Your purpose in life moreso than your small self.
Write a brief explanation of the concept of Naad and Shabd Guru for a yoga class.
The Naad is the eternal sound field which lies at the heart of awareness the vibrations of the sound current upon the field or face of the Naad, the primordial pool of pure light, whose vibrations and responses to the vibrations of awareness bring the universe into consciousness. The shared field of conscious vibration is universal and one, though each of us only becomes aware at any particular time of only a portion of it. The more we listen, the more we hear, and the more closely we are connected both as witnesses, and co-creators.
When you have great radiance how is your communication different?
When my radiance is increased, my true self comes out more. My small self is probably still there, and probably visible to someone very sensitive. But generally, the more I can increase my radiance, the further in the background these small things are.
How is mastery of the reactice personality important to effective communication?
By avoiding the reactive personality, we have a greater opportunity to listen to our true selves and be present and represent that. Then, communication will be more true and elevating.
Everyone write a one line prayer which will become part of a group prayer.
May God fill you with the name, the name which is true for you.

Other one liners from my notes:
Relax and be open to the teachings.
Conscious Communication is speaking to an elevated level, and through an elevated level.
Harmonious communication happens when there is an acceptance of where the other is coming from. Barriers are the resistance to accepting the other or oursevles for their or our truths. We excel when we drop our preconceptions and develop an honest accord.
Speaking must be developed intentionally.
Focus (first) on the Ajna, and then go(ing) higher; brings a deeper focus and (a) more true (experience of the) Ajna. Going a little more toward the Crown, Ajna seems to unfold and become tangible.
